Service Updates:

Final Hurricane Michael Update

Power has been restored to our ABY terminal. Employees will report to duty today and begin the process of getting back to normal. Please be aware that we have a backlog of freight for Albany and the surrounding area so the prcoess will be slow. Many remain without power and many companys remain cloased. Please be patient as we work through the many challenges that still remain. We hope to be back to normal by the start of next week. Please communicate via email to our terminal in Albany should you have any specific questions.
Hurricane Michael Update #4

Southwest Georgia and the panhandle of Florida continue to feel the impact of Hurricane Michael. The damage to this area has proven to be widespread and the recovery process is slow. Fallen trees have caused major power outages which continues to keep thousands in the dark. All employees have been confirmed safe but most remain wihout power. Cargo that was on hand prior to the storm is secure and any additional freight that has been recovered is being staged in Atlanta until power is restored to our ABY facility. Once we have power, we will resume linehaul and pickup and delivery service. As a reminder, some of the major points serviced from ABY include: Tallahassee, Tifton, Valdosta, Cordele, Douglas, Americus, Thomasville, and Moultrie. We will update all once the power has been restored. For additoinal info, please email us at CSR@JPHallExpress.com.
Hurricane Michael Update #3

Albany and Dougherty county were hit hard last night with Category 1 conditions as Hurricane Michael took a track Northwest of the city center dumping large amounts of rain and high winds.
The impact to this highly populated area was widespread. Fallen trees have caused major power outages and dangerous driving conditions across the county and the state along Michael’s path.
We are still in the process of trying to contact all employees to confirm they are safe.
Our Albany terminal did receive some damage to two warehouse doors. One large warehouse door was ripped off the wall and another was damaged.
Other than that the building and the customers cargo were relatively damage free. What cargo is on hand will be secured until the warehouse doors are replaced.
Because of the power outage and unsafe driving conditions the Albany Terminal will remain closed today and Friday.
We will plan to reopen for normal operations on Monday with the linehaul resuming on Sunday evening.
We hope to have power restored by Monday.
Hurricane Michael Update #2

Due to the impending arrival of hurricane Michael, the MOB, PNS, and SAV office will be closing early on Wed. Oct 10th  and are scheduled to open back up on Friday Oct. 12th weather permitting. Currently there will be no linehaul services to and from ATL and SAV on Wed & Thursday Oct 10 & 11th. This information may change based on the storms movement. Please refer back to our website for updates. We will continue to update as the situation evolves. Please email us at CSR@JPHallExpress.com should you have questions about a specific shipment or destination.

J&P Hall Express has been named the 2018 Trucker of the Year
by the Atlanta Air Cargo Association, the Atlanta Metro Chamber of Commerce, and the Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport!

A special thanks to all of our customers for making this the fourth year in a row we have been selected by you for this honor.

Your vote made a difference! We appreicate your continued support and again, thank you for recognizing the efforts of our employees here at J&P Hall Express!
TARIFF INCREASE EFFECTIVE FEB 5, 2018

The continued pressure on insurance premiums, technology upgrades and the requirement to maintain and attract qualified drivers, has necessitated that we implement a general rate increase of 5%, effective February 5th, 2018.

We do not take this lightly and we understand that we are all under pressure to maintain costs. However, as an asset based carrier, we have to pass along costs that go above the normal operating efficiencies we may gain over time.

We appreciate your loyalty to J&P Hall Express and we remain 100% committed to providing the best service possible to the air freight industry.  Your business is important to us and much appreciated!

We look forward to working with you in 2018!

Respectfully,

Todd Moore

THANK YOU FOR VOTING

     J&P HALL EXPRESS
2017 TRUCKER OF THE YEAR!

We are honored to have been named as the 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017 "Trucker of the Year" by the The Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson Airport, the Atlanta Air Cargo Association, the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, and most importantly, the customers of J&P Hall Express!  We have received this award five out of the six years it has been presented thanks to our loyal customers!  The employees of J&P Hall Express work hard each day to meet the needs of our customers and we are most appreciative of your support!  It means the world to us!

Striving for Perfection to Achieve Excellence!

Dear Valued Customer:

J&P Hall Express remains committed to maintaining the highest service levels as we enhance our product offerings and geographical footprint throughout the region.  We continue to invest in equipment, technology, and security requirements in order to meet our vision of being the premier air cargo and expedited transportation provider in the Southeast.

In addition to our normal operating costs, we continue to see pressure on driver compensation, health care costs, and other regulations that continue to impact our cost structure, such as HOS (Hours of Service), CSA, and TSA requirements.  While we support initiatives that help to maintain safety and security, there is an inherent cost that comes along with these regulations/requirements.

Effective February 6th, we will implement a 5% adjustment in our tariff structure…but we will continue to maintain all accessorial charges at the current pricing level, including a 200 dim factor.  It should be noted that we have made no adjustments to our pricing since September of 2015.

We do recognize that we all continue to focus on cost constraints and that every penny makes a difference to your organization, as it does to ours. We have been successful in some areas as far as maintaining or reducing costs, but this has not offset other rising expenses.

We sincerely appreciate your support and understanding.  We look forward to your continued support as we try our very best to offer the most consistent service in the local Atlanta and Southeastern market.

Thank you for your business!

Cordially,

Todd Moore
President
J&P Hall Express

Effective 8/3/15

In an effort to improve our pickup and delivery service across the region, we will be adjusting our cut-off times for same day deliveries to 0800 for all local Atlanta points. All freight recovered from carriers/forwarders by 6:00 am or delivered to our dock by 7:30 am, will go out for delivery the same day. All freight arriving past these cutoffs will deliver the next day.

Our goal is to provide a better customer experience by getting our drivers on the road and making deliveries in order to be in a position to make pickups each afternoon. We cover a vast geographic area so these changes are necessary to improve our hours of service compliance and to meet the overall needs and requirements of the forwarding community. We expect immediate improvement in our delivery times and our pickup windows. We will continue to evaluate our geographic footprint to make sure we are providing the best possible service at a competitive price.
Cutoff times for all pickups will remain the same. Please feel free to call our office at 1-800-339-8177 or email us at CSR@JPHallExpress.com
